However in most of the houses that are built here in Chicagoland, the kitchen is not the biggest room in the house. So we have to work the space that is both small and valuable.

In this project we had to remove the partial wall between the living room and the kitchen and ensure that the side window is higher and more with the general design of the remodeled house; so we got rid of the wooden railing and re-created a more Mediterranean look.

As the bathtubs gradually move into oblivion, and it is not a wonder given the price hikes on pretty much everything!, the vanity cabinets sparkle interest in the consumer base. The Tribune recently noted that although the square footage of a bathroom is hard to increase, with vanity cabinets that can be easily done at any stage of bathroom remodeling process, and so bathroom vanities become the new must have.

There are simple ways to add even more space, if only visually: lifting the bathroom vanity to seven or eight inches above the floor will provide the necessary illusion.

Kitchen Install

The distinct feature of this project was that the customer completed all preliminary tasks himself: demoed the old kitchen, updated electrical, finished drywall where needed, and painted exposed parts of the walls. At that point we came it and took over. Check out the amazing results.

The project took one week to finish thanks to all the work done by the owner. That allowed him to save a bunch, get much more on the same budget.

Bathroom tiles

White is always considered a ‘clean color’ and white bathroom will always give that fresh and clean look we all are looking for and strive to maintain once we get it!

Note how the simple square tiles – when placed all over the bathroom changes the whole space – making it bigger and brighter! Also to visibly increase the space available we added a simple two-colored belt with a smaller tiles.

Although the pipes are hidden in the bathroom walls – the shower rain system with a hand extension will provide for increased comfort.
